PM Deuba call emergency cabinet meeting
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called for an emergency Cabinet meeting at 4 pm on Friday.
The Cabinet might take a few important decisions on current issues of prominence such as announcement of National Assembly election date along with appointment of state heads and provincial capitals.
According to PM’s press coordinator Govinda Pariyar, the meeting scheduled for 4 pm is expected to announce the date of National Assembly (NA) election.
Earlier, the Election Commission (EC) had urged the government to hold the NA election on February 8.
Meanwhile, PM Deuba is holding a meeting with President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
Earlier on Thursday, PM Deuba met senior leaders of five political parties representing the Parliament to discuss the issue.
